Terms of Service

Important terms and guidelines for using the Quality Heat and Air website and scheduling heating and air conditioning services across Wake County and Durham.

Last Updated: October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website at https://qualityheat-and-air.link or calling our dispatch desk at (321) 666-8870, you agree to adhere to these Terms of Service, applicable North Carolina state laws, and local municipal codes. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this site or requesting service dispatch through its published phone numbers.

2. Service Scheduling & Diagnostic Procedures

Quality Heat and Air provides HVAC diagnostic and repair coordination throughout the greater Raleigh-Durham metropolitan area. When you schedule an on-site service appointment:

  • Diagnostic Fee: Standard diagnostic visits include a physical examination of your heat pump, air conditioner, ductwork, or furnace system by a field technician. The exact diagnostic fee is stated upfront before a technician arrives at your home.
  • Quotes Before Work Starts: Our technicians conduct a systematic component diagnosis and explain the exact issue before performing repairs. No billable repair work is initiated without your explicit written or verbal authorization on an itemized estimate.
  • Property Access: The customer is responsible for providing safe, clear access to indoor air handlers (crawlspaces, basements, or attics) and outdoor condensing units, as well as securing any domestic pets during the service call.

3. Pricing, Payments & Estimates

We believe in upfront, transparent pricing without hidden surprises:

  • All repair estimates reflect labor, replacement components (such as capacitors, contactors, blower motors, or TXV valves), and system testing.
  • Payment is due upon completion of the authorized repair or maintenance visit unless prior commercial billing arrangements have been formally established. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments.
  • Replacement system proposals outline equipment efficiency ratings (SEER2 / HSPF2), Duke Energy rebate eligibility parameters, and full scope of installation.

4. Emergency & After-Hours Service

Emergency cooling and heating dispatch is offered across Raleigh, Cary, Garner, Wake Forest, Apex, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Knightdale, and Durham subject to technician availability, road safety during severe weather (such as freezing ice storms or tropical weather events), and seasonal demand. Diagnostic dispatch rates for after-hours or weekend service calls are clearly communicated when you call.

5. Intellectual Property & Site Content

All original content, graphics, photographs, research briefs, local housing analyses, and technical guidelines published on https://qualityheat-and-air.link are the exclusive property of Quality Heat and Air and protected under United States copyright laws. Copying, republishing, or scraping any website content for commercial directory or competitor use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

While Quality Heat and Air takes meticulous care to maintain accurate technical troubleshooting advice and maintenance guidance on our educational blog articles, HVAC systems involve high voltage electrical circuits, pressurized refrigerants, and combustible natural gas. We strongly discourage homeowners from attempting DIY electrical bypassing or refrigerant recharging. Quality Heat and Air is not liable for damages or personal injury resulting from improper self-servicing based on informational web content.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal disputes arising in connection with service visits or website usage shall be resolved within Wake County, North Carolina.
